I dined in The Mill a few days ago, and was quite frankly a little disappointed by the whole experience.

My food I found was lukewarm when it arrived, and the loud music made it rather difficult to talk to my partner across the table.

Coupled with this, a loud mixture of lads were drinking at the bar area who seemed rather friendly with the staff, and we found we were permenantly distracted by their distasteful jokes with the bar staff.

Not great, will not be dining here again, and certainly not the place to bring company.

Popped into this place on Saturday night, and wow what a change, the old contis is no more, instead its now have a stylish cocktail bar and restaurant. As we walked in the first thing that jumped out at me was a five piece jazz band (which after further investigation is apparently there house band that play every saturday night) on second look behind the band is a fully stocked library, which blew my mind. I believe i have found my new weekend spot, next time i'll come a little earlier and try there food as the menu looked very interesting. Would definately check it out if your bored of the same old thing in cardiff.

Myself and a friend went here on Sat 23rd August before the Madonna gig. I found this place amazing!! They expect TIPS after u purchase every drink??!! There was a 2 for 1 offer and the bartender knew we wanted this, he decided to make us a special and sneakily charged us full price and wanted a tip again!! They also tried to force us in for food, the drinks were great and we wanted more, but would not dare to go back in there, and i probably never will again. What a complete disappointment!!!!!!!!!

Been to Cardiff loads of times, but never stumble on to this hidden jem before, the sea bass was amazing with a good wine list. Best Mojito i've ever had. Be back soon.

ate there last week, best fillet i've had in this city. bright and airy space that was warm and welcoming as were the staff. thoroughly enjoyed. I will be back.
