It has long been a tradition in Celtic story telling that autumn is a time when apparitions from the other side walk the earth. This ancient tradition is celebrated through many of the Halloween Cardiff events and one of them is called Halloween Nights 2009.

Halloween Nights 2009
Taking place between Thursday 29th October and Saturday 31st October, this event uses optical illusions to convince you that ghosts are present at the event. If you think you can handle it, the event takes place at St Fagans Calan Gaeaf, 6.30pm-9.30pm, daily, Thursday 29th October – Saturday 31st October 2009. Tickets cost £5.50 (children)/£8 (adults).

Creepy Cardiff Ghost Tour
In need of Halloween Cardiff events that let you see a spooky side of the city that you’d never normally hear about? The Creepy Cardiff Ghost Tour offers just that as you are guided around some of Cardiff’s most famous landmarks and buildings, whilst hearing stories of hauntings and macabre tales from the past. You need to be ready to depart from outside of the National Museum of Wales at 7.30pm, Saturday 31st October 2009. It costs £5 and the tour lasts about one hour.

Funkin Hell at Zync Bar
If the thought of ghost stories leaves you cold, then you might want to head to Halloween Cardiff events where the dance floor is at the heart of the action. Funky house, RnB and party classics are the order of the day at Funkin Hell. Entry is only £5 if you are in fancy dress; its £10 if you don’t make the effort.

Glen Matlock at Barfly
Punk legend Glen Matlock is in town as part of the Halloween Cardiff events. Matlock will not be turning the volume upto 11 on the amps though, as he’s doing an acoustic set. Tickets are £9. It takes place 7.30pm, Saturday 31st October 2009.

Halloween Special at Clwb Ifor Bach
Derwyddon Dr Gonzo, Creison Hud, Nos Sadwrn Bach are the bands on the bill at Clwb Ifor Bach and this will be one of the most original of all Halloween Cardiff events.
