The Big Brother Auditions in Cardiff return on Tuesday 6th January 2009 at the Millennium Stadium. The series, now celebrating its tenth year, has always had a strong representation from Wales over the years and there will be thousands of Welsh hopefuls looking to make it onto 2009’s series. Last year’s winner Rachel Rice, BB7 runner up Glyn, and, of course, Helen, I like blinking, I do, Adams from all the way back in BB2 have all made a name for themselves after taking part in the show. Will you be the next person to fly the flag for Wales? You’ll need to get yourself down to the Big Brother Auditions in Cardiff to have a chance.
There are some golden rules if you are thinking of taking part in the Big Brother Auditions in Cardiff. First of all the producers have compiled some top tips for those that want to have the best possible chance of making it onto the shortlist. The big no no’s are turning up hammered on booze. This won’t create a good impression and will probably result in you blowing your big chance. Another piece of advice is not to turn up naked. January in Cardiff is an unforgiving month and the queues will be as-far-as-the-eye-can-see, so turning up starkers is not a good look. They don’t say anything about wearing a fur coat and little underneath, however!
That said they’ve also given wanabee BB contestants a couple of words of advice of things that may help them succeed at the Big Brother auditions in Cardiff. One of these pearls of wisdom is to be courteous to fellow contestants and members of staff. It’s no good getting your claws out and being rude to everyone in sight. You can at least wait until you get into the house to unleash the bitchyness!

The organisers are also stressing the importance of being yourself. I’m sure they see all kinds of freaky behaviour at the auditions, with people feeling they need to put on some sort of show to stand out from the crowd. It seems, though, that if you have what they are looking for in terms of being, lively, opinionated and entertaining, you may well pass the Big Brother Auditions in Cardiff and find yourself on the set with the rest of 2009’s contestants. Good luck!
